This website

This website is built on WordPress and hosted on Hostinger. As part of standard hosting infrastructure, server log data (such as IP addresses) may be collected. No third-party advertising trackers or analytics scripts (e.g. Google Analytics) are used on this website.

Comments

If comments are enabled on any page or post, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After a comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to this website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Mars Clicker — Unity Analytics

Mars Clicker uses Unity Analytics (Unity Developer Data Framework) to collect anonymous gameplay data. This section applies exclusively to Mars Clicker, available on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store / Xbox.

Data collected

  • Unique installation-specific ID — an anonymous identifier tied to the installation, not to any personal identity.
  • Gameplay events — sessions, in-game interactions, and progression data.
  • Software and hardware diagnostics — performance and stability information (OS version, device model, crash reports) used solely to improve the game.

No name, email address, or any directly identifying information is collected.

Legal framework

Under GDPR, Unity acts as the Processor and Adrián Corbalán acts as the Controller. Under CCPA (as amended by CPRA), Unity acts as the Service Provider and Adrián Corbalán acts as the Business.

User consent

As the developer and data controller, Adrián Corbalán is responsible for providing clear and prominent notices to users regarding the collection, use, and transfer of their data, and for obtaining any necessary consent. Mars Clicker implements the UnityConsent API to manage analytics consent — analytics data is only collected when the user grants consent.

Data retention

Personal data collected via Unity Analytics is retained for a default period of 30 days.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset (site administration), your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If comments are enabled and you leave one, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely, so that follow-up comments can be recognized and approved automatically instead of held in a moderation queue.

What rights you have over your data

If you have left a comment on this site, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, and you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
